Tired of working on this. Not as finished as it could be but I feel I'm not progressing with this particular subject and setup.

I just realized something; all your tones are more or less saturated. Wasn't it a certain dancing bear who mentioned something about tonal atmosphere and desaturated mid-tones... —  Agent-Bunny-Boy

I was so focused on warm cool contrast I forgot about de-saturated mid tones. Which is interesting because right along the "bed bug line" the chroma tends to be more pronounced. I heard that Delacroix would use color instead of value in for certain subtle planar shifts along that line. Kind of interesting. It will probably take me at least a hundred more of these before I really start to understand it. —  Gibbermagash
