When you mix colors that are complements you often get either a brown, or a grey.
Sometimes a greenish grey, or a violet brown or any other sort of subtlety.
Often times an easy way to balance out the color in a piece is not by adding more
colors but removing them. Or by adding grey or brown. They are the colors of
stabilization and of warmth. The sky fights the sea, and the rickety brown ship
