I guess I just have a pet peeve, but when people draw the crescent moon, they draw stars right over the shadow. It's like that part of the moon is suddenly invisible instead of just being in the shadow.

You can sometimes get light reflecting off some of the taller craters, but it's never stars. —  Joe HF
